The book is in very good condition with a gift inscription dated 1949 to the fep, with light wear and sunning to the top/base of the spine and corners. There is occasional foxing to the pages, and to the page edges.
The dust wrapper is in very good condition and is price clipped, with wear and loss to the top/base of the spine and corners. There is slight loss to the print on the title wording to the front cover. The wrapper comes in a clear unattached protective cover.
Contains the fairy tales: Beauty and the Beast, The Brave Little Tailor and Hop-O'-My-Thumb. All eight fabulous full page colour plates by Rene Cloke are present, as well as line drawings throughout. A beautiful book.
