The book is in very good + condition with no marks and a neat gift inscription to the half title verso page. There is a small embossed stamp to the title page. The pages are clean and bright.
The dust wrapper is also in very good + condition and is price clipped. There is a small tear to the top of the front cover/spine join. The wrapper comes in a clear unattached protective cover.
A great example of this hard to find first edition. Whilst not strictly in the sequence of The Wolves Chronicles, the book introduces a number of characters who appear later and consequently can be read either as a stand alone novel or part of the series.
