The book is in very good + condition with very light bumping to the top/base of the spine and corners, and light staining to the covers. Internally, there is a name written neatly at the very top of the ffep and the pages are remarkably clean, bright and mark free except for a pen mark to the half title page verso.
The dust wrapper is in very good condition and is price clipped, with wear and loss to the top/base of the spine, corners and edges. The rear cover is marked and the competition entry form completed. The wrapper comers in a clear unattached protective cover.
The book consists of a mixture of fiction with a number of stories by Noel Streatfeild, as well as others including Pamela Brown, Barbara Willard and Lorna Lewis. As well as articles and photographs of leading ballet dancers at the time - Beryl Grey, Moira Shearer and Margaret Fonteyn, whose colour picture makes up the frontis.
