The book is in very good condition, with no inscriptions, with some loss to the print near the top of the spine, and very light wear to the top/base of the spine and corners. There is some light staining to pge 12 only.
Book 19 of series 606D. 'Well-Loved Tales.' This is the last one listed on the rear of the book. This scarce true first edition has the illustrator incorrectly listed as Robert Lumley, rather than Eric Winter, who correctly appears in all later editions.
