The book is in very good condition with no marks or inscriptions, with wear to the top/base of the spine, which is lightly sunned, and corners. There is a stain to the fore-edges of both covers, and one to the front cover. Both covers are a touch dusty. Internally there is a prize label dated 1898, with foxing to the end papers and occasional light foxing thereafter.
