The book is in very good condition, with no inscriptions. There is wear and loss to the corners and rubbing to the edges, with a few marks to the boards. Internally, there is light discolouration to the pages, which are mark free, with light foxing to the page edges. The book is an ex public library copy with the remains of a label and bar code to the fep and a stamp to the publication page.
This is the first English publication of the original French colour edition published in 1955. One of six published in The Tintin Classic Collection. Scarce.
