The book is in very good condition, with no inscriptions, with bumping to the top/base of the spine, with foxing to the front inside cover page, fep, half title page and page edges. There are a few faint marks to the inside cover page, and to the fore-edge of the rear cover.
The dust wrapper is in very good condition and is not price clipped, with light wear and chipping to the top of the spine and wear to the corners, and a faint crease running across the top edge of the covers. The book is the last title listed on the rear cover. The wrapper comes in a clear unattached protective cover.
Number 28 in the Bobbsey Twins series. Although first published in the US in 1941, the title wasn't published in the UK until 1959. This is the true UK 1st edition, with its original wrapper.
